Building Connections with the Community

At Taylor, we are committed to making a difference, be it in our community or around the world. Through long-standing partnerships with organizations such as the March of Dimes, and participation in local events and activities that benefit cause-related initiatives, we join hands to make a positive impact on those in need. Taylor participates regularly in a variety of cause-related initiatives, including: the Revlon Run-Walk for breast cancer in Central Park; parks beautification projects in New York through Partnership for Parks; preparing meals for families at Ronald McDonald House in Charlotte; food drives for City Harvest and Second Harvest Food Bank; school supply drives with the Madison Boys and Girls Club of New York and Classroom Central in Charlotte.

For more than 20 years, we have provided support for the March of Dimes Sports Luncheon in New York, which raises more than $700,000 annually. Bryan Harris, Taylor COO & Managing Partner, is longtime PR chair for the luncheon. In 2011, Taylor began working with the Mecklenburg County (N.C.) chapter of Habitat for Humanity – one of largest and most successful in the country – to help the organization amplify consumer awareness of its Habitat ReStore operations within the local Charlotte community while also driving donations, store purchases and volunteerism.
