Further showcasing our exciting work with client partner Comcast Xfinity through its entertainment marketing platform, Taylor recently developed and executed a strategic media relations plan to elevate the brand’s interactive destination for the 2017 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA) on Xfinity On Demand. This included an exclusive performance by Camila Cabello, who debuted her new single “I Have Questions” immediately after the television broadcast.
Led by Taylor executives Andrea Simon and Anna Dutkowsky, the agency conducted broad outreach across entertainment media; securing stories with the likes of People, Access Hollywood, Us Weekly, Entertainment Tonight, E! Online, Hollywood Life, and Just Jared. Taylor also hosted a writer from Elite Daily in Las Vegas, providing the reporter with exclusive BTS access to the BBMAs and an immersive brand experience.
More specifically, Taylor worked directly with the Elite Daily reporter to ensure that her piece was timely with the official release of Cabello’s full single of “I Have Questions” on Sunday afternoon just before the BBMA TV broadcast.
As a result, the article gained significant traction on social media, with over 2,134 engagements through the writer’s Twitter post alone, as well as over 1,470 engagements on Elite Daily’s tweet –a true testament to the power of media relationships.
To date, earned coverage resulting from Taylor’s media relations strategy has amounted to more than 156 million media impressions.
