Harness the Power of Our Differences

Diversity, Equity &
Inclusion aren’t words
we throw around lightly.

Since 2020, when Hold The PRess and 600 & Rising requested agencies to be more transparent about their commitment to DE&I, Taylor has made its diversity data and mission public. Salary bands across Taylor are based on annual market data prepared by Mercer. Our bands, which favor the highest and most competitive Mercer data sets available, are internally published for all colleagues. Our annual compensation analysis is designed to reinforce equity across all demographics. As such, we are proud to say that Taylor offers complete pay equity to our entire team.

Taylor began a partnership with HBCUs and UNCF in 2006 and has been supporting students from HBCU institutions through internship programs (established in 2006) and the Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Scholarship Program (established in 2018). The agency has collaborated with UNCF on educational initiatives, i.e. the Taylor Loan Forgiveness Grant and it supports the organization’s annual fundraising events (Walk for Education, New York Gala).

          Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation
In 2020 Taylor teamed up with the BLHF to increase the foundation’s visibility by developing a strategic plan to define, unify, and coordinate its marketing activities. It included: brand positioning & architecture, strategic plans (corporate, marketing, program), a communications strategy, and executional actions. The goal remains to position BLHF as the leading mental health and wellness resource for the Black and African American community.

          Hispanic Star
In 2022 Taylor partnered with Hispanic Star to raise awareness on the underrepresentation of Hispanic leaders and barriers to leadership roles. To advance equality of Hispanics in the US, Taylor will be working with the organization to create assets that mobilize the public, communities and corporate America to leverage untapped Hispanic talent and voices.

          NAACP Legal Defense Fund
Over the last few years Taylor has worked closely with the NAACP LDF to redefine their messaging strategies, shifting how they engage with their audience around topics related to voter participation in advance of an election. This is an effort to help mobilize the LDF’s rapidly growing audience, stemming from being in the spotlight within the Black Lives Matter movement.
