…knew then what I know now…
“Time waits for no one!” “Time heals all wounds.” “Time marches on.” Time….
We, as a culture, spend a lot “time” doing a lot of activities; however, let’s take a moment to refocus.
We are very good at squeezing in all that we can in a small period of TIME – thanks to modern technology. So, we have “quantity” down to a science. I would like to challenge all of us to evaluate the “quality” of our time. As I review/revisit/re-evaluate and rethink the days gone by, I have achieved a high level of quantity but cannot say with conviction that it was a high level of “quality” as well.
Time waits for no one, so we should spend your days and your time wisely. How do we do that? Well, I am still a work in progress myself so I am not 100% sure. However, as I embark on laying to rest a woman who lived 102 years on this earth, I ready myself to start the process, to strategically make a plan where I am both the target audience and the client partner.
Your time here in this life is precious yet short. Through the trials and tribulations, through the rainy days and the episodes of Murphy’s Law (as they do happen from time to time) – let’s think about the “quality” of the days as them come and as they go. Maybe I will stop more often to smell the roses but for right now I think I will start with going to lunch. 🙂
