Taylor Creative Director, Sam Saunders, will be on the scene at the Cannes Lions Festival next week to deliver a workshop titled, “A Peace Treaty Between Planners and Creative” that explores how agencies can bridge the gap between creative and insights. In advance of his trip to Cannes, Saunders and Taylor SVP/Group Brand Planning Director, Katina Scott, spoke to our Creative Studios team about the intricacies of the creative process, and the advantages working directly with planners brings to a campaign. Debuting this week, Taylor’s “Road to Cannes” video series explores a variety of topics that will be on the minds of Festival goers, including, building trust between planners and creatives, PR’s competitive advantage vs. advertising, is there a “perfect brief,” and what to expect when the Cannes Lions are awarded.
